Mission

The ON THE LINE FOUNDATION raises funds to support prostate cancer education programs and research initiatives for finding a cure for the disease. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the ON THE LINE Campaign - an awareness and education initiative that provides resources to men who have been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer or are living with the disease. Monies raised go to help not for profit organizations affiliated with the ON THE LINE campaign. ON THE LINE FOUNDATION is a 501(c)3 organization.

CEO Message:

Dear Friends,
More than 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I am grateful to be a survivor and grateful that I was lucky to have had access an amazing team of physicians as well as resources during my treatment. My journey inspired me to form Edge Health, a company dedicated to creating health education initiatives to keep the public informed about a range of health conditions. I feel so fortunate to be able to focus my life's work on something I'm so passionate about. In February 2011, we launched ON THE LINE - a prostate cancer awareness and education program, which has touched thousands of men's lives as well as their loved ones.

The work of the ON THE LINE campaign was made possible by the generous support of our sponsors and the not for profit organizations who collaborated with us to provide men and their families with local and community resources throughout their prostate cancer journey. Among the not for profit organizations we've been fortunate enough to collaborate with are: ZERO - The Project to End Prostate Cancer, Us TOO International Prostate Cancer Education & Support Network, Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), The V Foundation and the Conquer Cancer Foundationof the American Society of Clinical Oncology. The work that each of these organizations are doing to further research and education around prostate cancer is truly remarkable and I wanted to make it my mission to find a way to support their efforts.

This past August, we formed the ON THE LINE FOUNDATION, the philanthropic arm of the ON THE LINE campaign. Monies raised by the ON THE LINE FOUNDATION go directly to support the prostate cancer education programs and research initiatives of the teammates affiliated with the ON THE LINE campaign. While tremendous progress has been made in recent years, prostate cancer remains second only to skin cancer in its prevalence. One in every six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. Our teammates are working tirelessly to change the statistics and our goal for the ON THE LINE FOUNDATION is to help them in their efforts to pursue new research and create new support programs…to give men and their loved ones hope and to one day find a cure for prostate cancer.

But we need your help. Prostate cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer death in American men, behind only lung cancer. 1 in 36 men will die from prostate cancer. Clearly there is more work to be done to find a cure. Your support will fund a growing number of promising research and patient education projects.
