Michael Burg, CEO On the Line Foundation

Michael Burg is the Chief Executive Officer of the On the Line Foundation and the President and Founder of Edge Health and Edge Marketing and Entertainment, a company dedicated to creating health education initiatives to keep the public informed about a range of health conditions. He has over twenty-five years of experience in sports and entertainment television, event marketing and production for Edge, Jefferson-Pilot Sports and CBS Sports. Burg received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Burg created and produced the Teen Choice Awards on FOX and the Kid's Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, along with a variety of collegiate and Olympic sports-related, celebrity-driven television broadcasts, live events and tours.

Leonard "Len" Elmore, Vice Chairman, ESPN Sportscaster and Former NBA Star

Leonard Elmore is a college basketball announcer and analyst for both ESPN and CBS. Prior to working as a sportscaster, Elmore split ten professional basketball seasons between the American Basketball Association (ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA), playing for five teams in his ten year span. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, while playing collegiate basketball and receiving three consecutive All-ACC honors, and his graduate degree from Harvard Law School.

Elmore is the chief executive of the National Basketball Retired Players Association and was inducted into the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame, is a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Maryland and a member of the Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics. Elmore previously served as Senior Counsel in the Entertainment, Media and Sports Group of Dewey & LeBoeuf and was a member of The Sports Lawyers Association Board.

Robert Hacker, Board Member

Robert Hacker is the Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for FOX Sports, where he provides legal services for foxsports.com and its related companies, has worked with the NFL, MLB and NASCAR on all production related contracts, and managed the FOX Sports Music department. Prior to working for FOX Sports, Hacker worked in two small firms, including his own private practice. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California and his graduate degree from San Fernando Valley College of Law.

Hacker serves on the board of the Sports Lawyers Association, as well as American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and the Santa Monica Rugby Club.

Frank Stewart, Board Member

Frank Stewart is an entertainment attorney for Carolco Entertainment based in Los Angeles, California, who represents clients in the film, television, theatre, sports and publishing fields for over thirty years. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and Harvard University and his graduate degree from the London School of Economics, Northwestern University and the University Of Virginia School Of Law.

Stewart was diagnosed on October 1, 2009 with prostate cancer and just one week later, on October 8, 2009 with non-Hodgkins high grade B-cell lymphoma. He is a survivor of both forms of cancer, which he attributes to the tremendous progress made in the oncology word and his great team of doctors.

Julie Vose, Chief of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center

Dr. Julie Vose is the Chief of Oncology/Hematology Division in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Vose is an internationally known expert in the treatment of patients with lymphoma and has served in many national and international review panels. She received her undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University, her graduate degree from the University of Colorado and has completed all medical education and training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Vose is the current co-program leader of the Hematologic Malignancy Program at the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center, has published over 300 articles in various medical journals, serves as an expert reviewer, and has served on the editorial boards of hematology and oncology journals.
